Doubt doesn't mean you're out. The Bible is full of people who argued with God, cried at him and asked how long, and he kept the conversation going.
Honesty makes room for the questions you've been afraid to say out loud, the anger you thought you weren't allowed, and the prayers that don't end on a hopeful note. God would rather have the real you than the polished one.
From the devotionals
Bring the question with you; there is room for it here.
Day 92
The tired, unpolished version of you is the one God is listening for.
Day 97
Your tears are welcome in God's house, and so are you.
